The retro style of the hat is modeled after newsboy hats of the 1920s and 1930s, updated with a leather rosette at the side and a short brim for a modern and feminine look. The cap itself is constructed from eight symmetrical panels with a button top to give it a classic feel. For over 30 years, Mucros has provided some of Irelands finest woven goods from its traditional craft workshop under the stewardship of master weaver John Cahill.
